Nighttime and the Metropolis

Second episode of Tourism and/in the Metropolis bringing together Barcelona and Rio de Janeiro, looking at the way size and complexity of these cities affects their night time offers, geographic and population expansion. We talk about resilience and resistance, as well as the tensions between different groups.

The podcast series, hosted by Dr Adam Eldridge and Dr Maja Jović, brings forward a number of voices – academics and industry professionals from around the globe to help us examine the changes and unique metropolitan qualities that allow for these changes in tourism to happen.
