
Andreina Seijas J. is a Venezuelan communicator and public policy consultant who specializes in night planning and governance. For more than ten years, she has been conducting international research on what policies and interventions can promote more efficient and inclusive use of cities at night. In 2018, she was the curator of Ciudades Nocturnas, the first Latin American conference on night management that took place in Bogotá, Colombia. In 2020 she founded Night Tank an international consultancy specialized in this new field of study.
Currently, she works for the Housing and Urban Development Division of the Inter-American Development Bank in Washington D.C. Previously, she served as a Researcher and Teaching Fellow at the Harvard Graduate School of Design, Public Policy; Associate at Americas Society / Council of the Americas, and Editorial Associate for Americas Quarterly magazine in New York. Also, she was the Information Manager for the Mayor’s Office of the Municipality of Chacao in Caracas, Venezuela.
Andreina holds a degree in Social Communication from the Andrés Bello Catholic University (Caracas), a Master in Social Policy and Development from the London School of Economics, a Master in Public Administration from New York University, and a PhD in Design (Doctor of Design) from the Harvard Graduate School of Design.
