Florian Guérin

Florian Guérin holds a PhD in urban planning (Université Paris-Est). He is a post-PhD researcher in urban planning and urban sociology at UMR 5281 ART-Dev (CNRS Occitanie-Est) within the research program Smartnights. His research focuses on the co-production of urban spaces through festive practices, pedestrian mobility and innovative governance. His work highlights the desynchronisation of social rhythms between themselves and with individual rhythms, as well as the distortions between the daily perceptions and the rhythms of urban production in a territory.

He is the manager of Lavurb, a studies office for semi-public structures in order to engage them in a process of use management. This posture related to action research is a way to build projects in touch with societal problems and to share research results.
