Jordan Rowe is a London-based writer, curator and researcher on urban nights, culture, heritage and identities. His work is practice-based with a focus on the notion of the ‘creative city’, as it relates to art institutions and museums.
Since 2020, Jordan has been appointed as the Museum of London’s Urbanist in Residence and as a Research Fellow at Theatrum Mundi, working on a project interrogating the relationship between the Museum’s planned new building and the city’s nocturnal socialities.
In his role at UCL, he manages the UCL Urban Laboratory, is coordinator for a European Research Council-funded project on urban development in three African cities, and co-manages the university’s Race Equality Implementation Group.
