Jordi Nofre

Jordi Nofre holds a PhD in Human Geography from the University of Barcelona (2009). Between 2010 and 2018, he was an FCT postdoctoral research fellow. Since 2019, he is an FCT Principal Investigator and an integrated member at the Interdisciplinary Centre of Social Sciences at the Universidade NOVA de Lisboa (CICS.NOVA). His research includes 3 main topics: (i) Nightlife and urban change in south European cities; (ii) Social geographies of youth in Euro-Mediterranean countries; and (iii) Societal dynamics in a changing environments. He has published a total of 63 publications and participated in 13 research grants. In July 2014, he created LXNIGHTS (http://lxnights.hypotheses.org/), an informal scientific network on nightlife studies, encompassing several scholars from a total of 9 countries.
