Miguel Neiva

Miguel Neiva is currently a PhD student in Urban Studies at NOVA University (FCSH) and holds an M.A. in Cultural Economics & Entrepreneurship from the Erasmus University Rotterdam. His publications have tackled the topics of creative entrepreneurship and cultural policy at transnational (EU) and city (Porto) level. His research focuses on the spatial and social dynamics of the creative sector and he is enthusiastic about the night-time economy, regional and urban policy, ecosystem frameworks, as well as the intersection of art and design with technology. His curriculum includes professional experience at the Berlin International Film Festival and music labels Sony Music and Deutsche Grammophon (Universal Music), motivated by his classical music education.
