
Salomé Vincent is an explorer of urban obscurities and currently a PhD student in geography at Paris-Sorbonne University, attached to the laboratory “Médiations”. She holds a Master’s degree in geography. Her research topics include: night studies, the relationship of non-heterosexual people to the nocturnal public space, the urban night life and the dark interstices of the city, as well as urban et feminist geographies. She pursues a PhD thesis which deals with the darkness in the nights of Nantes, with a phenomenological approach and a background of feminist urban geography which gives pride of place to the geography of emotions and qualitative research methods.
